Best Lobuche east Climbing Guides 2025

I climbed Lobuche east Peak with Highland Expeditions in April 2022 and the entire experience right from the beginning to the very end was truly amazing. The entire climb was managed with care and expertise. The summit climb was exhilarating and exhausting but our guide Sonam helped us through the mountain and was kind towards us. This certainly made a big contribution to my summiting. I would sign up for another trip with them in a heartbeat if given the opportunity.

Our group cannot thank Nirvana Trails enough for the constant assistance offered to us during our time in Nepal. We opted to do the three passes trek, self-guided, but add on Lobuche east Peak climb through Nepal Nirvana Trails. From the first day of planning, KP was a constant source of information and advice. When we arrived in Nepal, sadly the Monsoon had wreaked havoc on the country, leading to many people having their plans totally ruined. However, we were fortunate to have KP helping us. KP managed to get us a helicopter within 24 hours, despite there being vast numbers of people trying to do the same. Furthermore, KP was able to arrange direct flights for us back from Lukla to Kathmandu, avoiding the unpleasant drive back from Ramachap. All in all, KP managed to make my plans for our group trip run totally to schedule, in a trekking season where so many people sadly had their plans upended due to a late and chaotic monsoon season. We cannot thank you enough!

We booked the Lobuche east Peak Trek as a group (3 people) through Exciting. We felt very well looked after right from the start. Communication ran smoothly. Subash and his team were very easy to contact at all times. We were picked up directly from the airport on the first day and driven to the hotel. The hotel was also very satisfactory. We met in the office, got to know our guide, discussed the final details and then set off the next day. One of the best things about the whole trip was our guide, Huparaj. A wonderful person, helpful, funny and simply a good soul. The tour was very well thought out, with enough days to acclimatize. The length of the individual day trips was ideal. The accommodation was always well chosen. The food was sufficient and always of great quality despite the increasing altitude. Our climbing guides for the peak day were also excellent. We always felt super safe. All in all, we were very happy with our decision and would recommend Exciting to anyone.

Amazing climb up Lobuche east peak! I was trekking solo, but Nepal Nirvana trails arranged a guide and gear to meet me in Lobuche for this climb. KP was great about keeping in touch in order to arrange it based on my schedule. Very professional and flexible. I would definitely use their services again.

I highly recommend Nepal Nirvana Trails to anyone travelling to Nepal! KP and his team provided fantastic local knowledge to allow us to make the most out of our trip. We organised everything through them from 2 excellent treks - 1 to Everest base camp including Gokyo lakes and even a peak climb! (Lobuche east Peak 6119m). Also Annapurna circuit. There was nothing they weren’t able to organise for us. We also organised some rafting and a bungee jump and swing through Nepal Nirvana and they were great in providing us transport everywhere around. They tailored the trip to us perfectly in terms of pricing and what was provided on the treks - really satisfied with the price it was amazing value for money, especially as we were on a slight budget. But they can organise treks for any budgets with different levels of luxury as required. Within a week or so we had made good friends with KP and his daughter and son and we spent an amazing evening celebrating a successful trip on our last night! Can’t recommend highly enough!
