Climbing mountain Yanapaccha
Located in the Cordillera Blanca, strategically in the middle of colossal mountains of five and six thousand meters. From its top you can see a spectacular panoramic view. After Pisco perhaps the “Yana” is the most frequented mountain in this area.
The name of the snow-capped mountain, Yanapaccha, derives from Quechua toponymy. Yana which is black and paccha or paqcha which means waterfall.
Located almost in front of the snowy Pisco, its entrance is through Km 42 of the road that leads to the Portachuelo pass.
